Nutrafol Advances Expert-Led Hair Health Education for Creators with Nutrafol Academy
Nutrafol creator accreditation program equips partners with knowledge and expertise to authentically bring science and credibility into every hair growth conversation - giving consumers trusted assurance of informed, expert-led information
To thoughtfully educate and empower creator partners with a deeper understanding of the science of hair health as well as Nutrafol’s distinctive whole-body approach, Nutrafol - the #1 dermatologist-recommended hair growth supplement brand1 - developed Nutrafol Academy.
As interest in hair health continues to grow, the accreditation program fosters meaningful, two-way collaboration with creators by delivering credible education that supports informed storytelling - fostering partnerships that prioritize dialogue and shared learning. Rooted in clinical research and expert-led, evidence-based resources, the program draws on Nutrafol’s decade of science-driven innovation, customer-first ethos, and trusted leadership as the best-selling hair growth supplement brand2. Not only does it advance accurate conversations around hair thinning, but it also supports consumers on hair health journeys so they can take away clear, actionable guidance.
Building on years of educational support for creator partners, Nutrafol created this program to help formalize resources into a centralized, curriculum-driven platform, shaped by longstanding partners and designed to deepen knowledge and impact. It equips partners with:
- A structured onboarding and training around the science of hair health, designed and led by Nutrafol's Chief Medical Advisor and board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Heather Woolery-Lloyd, and customized based on individual goals, needs, and expertise
- Guidelines and reference materials to support continued accurate, compliant, and transparent partner content
- A custom designation (#NutrafolAccredited) for completing the course that creators can proudly display
“This accreditation isn’t just a badge - it’s a signal to our audience that the information they’re seeing about hair health meets a higher bar,” said Cindy Gustafson, CEO of Nutrafol. “Excellence is our benchmark, and Nutrafol Academy brings clarity, scientific rigor, and purposeful guidance to partners so they can help share their story while upholding our commitment to science and transparency. As a pioneer in hair health, backed by ten years in the category, we see this program as our duty and incredibly relevant in an age and space filled with misinformation.”
The Nutrafol Academy designation will be visible across owned, partner, and web channels. The program will roll out to existing and new creators throughout the year, alongside the addition of new bespoke content and resources designed to support ongoing education on hair health. Nutrafol also developed a version of this program for its professional partners – including healthcare professionals and hair stylists – as part of the brand’s ongoing commitment to education.
